Caught Ya!

So I've heard the 1st born can sometimes rebel after bringing home a new baby.
And boy have I noticed it!
Jacob is getting into things that he's never noticed before and some new things that intrigue him.

I give you Exhibit A:

I walked in and immediately said, "get outta that!".
Then I said, "wait, let me take your picture."  HA!  :)

I wonder if there's a maximum weight capacity?
Clearly it can hold 35lbs.

Sorry Aunt B, won't let this happen again.
Thanks for letting us borrow the Moses basket.  :)

New Thing!!!!!! Comedy Sketch Of The Day!!!!!!

These won't actually be daily. This is The Revolting Blog. If you've been here before, you already know that we don't do anything daily. However, I'm calling it the "Comedy Sketch Of The Day" because whenever I actually post one, it'll be the comedy sketch of that particular day. Alright then, here we go. I was talking to C Red last night about one of our alltime favorite shows and one of our alltime favorite sketches from that show. Here it is: From Chappelle's Show, The Niggar Family!!!!!!

My Florida Vacation

My mom went with us. She hadn't been to Florida since she was a child.

Prettiest girls I could find all week!!

We hung out with Clay, Amber, Cole, and Bristol while we were there. This is Cole and Maddie on the Pirate Ship Cruise.

Found a little oil

Someday you'll find it, the Rainbow Connection.

Although there were small tar balls if you looked really hard for them, the beach was beautiful and the water was clear. Seaweed was a much bigger problem than oil.

For the thousands at PCB, and for the millions who will read this blog post, Let's Get Ready To.........nevermind, this is a family blog.

I managed to get kissed by this hot chick while I was at the beach. Yep, I've still got it!!

Maddie and Aubrey at Fudpuckers in Destin. You ain't been pucked till you've been fudpucked. I've always said that.

Aubrey's first ever "ride". She didn't really know what to think about it.

Maddie and I rented this hog last Thursday and cruised the strip all day long. We got the trike because I figured it would be easier to balance with the youngster. Plus they said she could ride in front of me on it. Several hot babes tried to push Maddie off and get on this fine piece of machinery with me. Luckily Maddie is pretty fiesty and was able to fight them off. This thing was actually pretty cool and they reduced the prices on all the scooter and golf cart rentals because of the tourist numbers being down and the fear that they soon won't be making any money. I guess they wanna rent them out while they can. We got it for $42. That's not a lie Bunch. It was a fun day.

Are You Gam3Day Ready?

Cole with Coach Joker Phillips

Maddie with "The Man", Randall Cobb

Deh Beh with a hard Dre on Randall as he politely signs Boner's helmet

Cole already had a slew of Cobb autographs and I wanted my picture made with him so I got him to autograph Cole's jersey. I originally asked him to autograph my boob, but he refused.

The Cat remembered Bunch from his near death year of 1996. The Cat asked for a picture with this miracle of modern medicine. For those who don't know, we saw Mark Pope in the Wildcat Lodge parking lot before the 1995-1996 Midnight Madness and told him that our buddy was dying and Pope proudly said they would dedicate the season to the ailing Deh Beh. Of course they went on to win it all. Bunch lived to see it. That story has been told on here before, but all of you may not have read it. Also, Pope graciously autographed a Double (deh beh) Cola bottle for Bunch. I think Pope would have done just about anything we asked him to do because he was scared that Kendall would try to spray puke at his family again. I'm not telling that story today.

Adjusting...

My work was kind enough to get this cute sign for our front yard.
I've been meaning to get a picture of all of us in front of it, but that hasn't happened yet.

Our sweet angel in the moses basket snug as a bug.

Yep, he belongs to me :)

We are adjusting well, better than I expected.
He is such a sweet gentle baby.

Jacob constantly asks "where's Levi?"
He is so concerned about him.  :)
Oh, and he loves to hold him.

Life is good!

THERE’S ONLY ONE REAL TEAM IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL

- the only reason the Reds are doing well this year is because of two Cardinal throw aways, Scott Rolen and Walt Jockety. When Rolen comes back to reality that he is over the hill, than the Reds will fall back to mediocrity

- the powder baby blue uni’s that the Cardinals wore through the 80’s are one of the classic uniforms ever, just above the Chicago White Sox (with # on pant leg), the San Diego Padres camo, and just below the Pittsburgh “We are Family” Pirates of 1979

- Willie McGee was the ugliest man ever to play Major League Baseball

- For all those haters hoping that Albert Pujols’ name comes up on “The List” of users, quit hating. We all know that steroids or PED’s would never help a cyborg

- To hell with the blown call at first that cost Galaragga his perfect game…what about the blown call at first for the last out in Game 6 of the 1985 World Series? Nobody bitchin’ about instant reply then, right?

- 10 World Series Championships….to hell with the Yankees and their 27…because much like Kentucky basketball, most of them were won before 1850…you know before African-americans and Latinos were allowed to play….well, not so much Latinos for college basketball

- Ozzie Smith was the best shortstop ever…………….who could do a back flip……….and appeared on the Baseball Bunch

- (I know its not the Cardinals) but Kobe Bryant is the best Laker ever…and that pains me to say since I grew up watching Earvin

GO LAKERS! And GO CARDINALS! ….. oh yeah, and the bears….

Coming Home

We were finally able to come home today.
The pediatrician heard a heart murmur in little Levi, so we were waiting for the test results to come back.
They were sent to Children's Hospital in Little Rock, but the results are not in.
The pediatrician said he has no signs of any cardiac related issues, so he was comfortable sending us home.
Please pray this is nothing at all.  We know the Lord is in control.

I am so glad to be out of that hospital bed!
We used the same going-home outfit we used on Jacob.  So cute!
We also had his picture made at the hospital, and I will have to do a side by side comparison to Jacob's.
I think they could pass for twins.  :)

In the meantime, here he is.  Not all that happy.  :)

Ready to head home!

Please excuse how rough I look.
I have a feeling there will be many more days of no makeup and hair not fixed.  :)

It's good to be home.  :)

Just a few more pics of our incredible day

Here is Jacob coming into my room for the first time before I headed off to surgery.
Thanks Aunt B for such a cute shirt!

I was so disappointed that we didn't get any pictures like the below of when we had Jacob.
I think it was because we were rushed and didn't have time to think about taking pictures.
This time I knew I wanted to capture these moments.

I so wish I had a picture of Jacob like this.
But at least I have one of sweet Levi.

I was able to have this sweet moment with Jacob, but again, no picture.
This will probably always be my favorite.  :)
And yes, I bawled!!

As we thought all along, BIG BABY!  :)

Well hello there

Such a tender moment.
Almost looks like Levi is smiling at Jacob.
So sweet!

Introducing...

Levi Scott Key
6.23.10
7:40am
8lbs 10oz
20.5"

Absolutely breathtaking!!!

The surgery went so smooth - thank you Lord!
We are both doing well and getting to know one another.   :)

I think the only time he has cried or been upset was when he first entered the world.
Maybe this is a glimpse of how well-natured he will be.  :)
That is my wish.  :)

Momma's new little man

Ever so proud Daddy

Absolute favorite picture ever!!

I have been so surprised how well Jacob has taken to being at the hospital and seeing me hooked up to machines and lying in bed.  He is already showing wonderful signs of being a big brother.  He keeps calling him baby instead of Levi.  So sweet!

We are so blessed beyond  measure.  Levi is just perfect and I cannot wait to start our new life with him.

oh, and I guess I totally have no mother's intuition.
I was so convinced Levi would be Chloe.  :)
We'll still keep 'em.

Our hearts have burst!!
Love you to the moon Levi!!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!!

Today is my parents 37th wedding anniversary!
I am lovin' my dad's white tie. :)
They had a small intimate ceremony amongst family.

Haircut

We had received a couple of comments that Jacob's hair was so long it looked like he was wearing a wig!
I was waiting until closer to the arrival of baby #2 so he would have a fresh haircut for pictures.
Should that even matter?  Probably not, but that is how my mind works!

Kris and I have tackled him the last few haircuts with the clippers.
I couldn't remember what number we used the last time, but I knew I wanted it short so we went with a 2.

After the first run through I think my heart skipped a beat.
I thought "oh no, we've scalped him!".

I don't think it's so bad, it was just a big difference between the wig and the buzz.  :)
p.s.  he was helping Kris with the tape to hang the "K" wall decal above our bed that I mentioned in a previous post.  However, there will be no K.  The swirls were way too thin and it was impossible to peal off the paper without tearing.  So waste of money.  :(

Happy Father's Day!

Jacob has such a good daddy.
His sweet face just lights up when Kris comes home.
Kris always plays with Jacob after a long 12hr. day at work.

Here he is reading Curious George to him - one of his favorites.
Jacob always asks Kris to lay down with him before bedtime.
I'm sure it's just a ploy to stay up longer, but still sweet.

We also want to wish a Happy Father's Day to Papaw.
Jacob LOVES it when Papaw takes him for a ride on the 4-wheeler.
And Papaw doesn't mind one bit making 1000 trips around the yard.  :)

Happy Father's Day Kris!  Thank you for being such a wonderful, protective Dad to Jacob and the soon to be next baby Key.

Happy Father's Day Dad!
I love you and hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Lukie!

Today is Luke's 2nd birthday!
I cannot believe this little monkey is already 2!

I was limited on pictures of Lukie because our home laptop is ill, so these will have to do.

Beth used to make fun of me for having these wristlets on Jacob, so I put them on Luke :)

Look at those legs!  I think they're still this length!  :)

This is one of my absolute favorite pictures of them two!

Such a good cuddler at this age

Starting to walk

Lovin on a cupcake

Lukie, Aunt Sissy, Uncle Kris and Jacob love you!
We hope you have a wonderful birthday!

Ladies Lunch

The sweet ladies from my office took me out to lunch today!
It was so nice to be outside of the office with them.

We went to Mimi's Cafe - yum!  Love their muffins, which came with my salad and will be enjoying tomorrow for breakfast!

Look at this cake!  DELISH is an understatement!
And the strawberries - YUM O!

Is your mouth watering?  :)

Here is hunchback of Notre Dame!

I SO wish we had gotten a group photo!
But I was too busy shoving some cake!

Thank you ladies, and thank you Kristy!
