The Elections Department has allowed a recount of all votes cast in the presidential polls in Singapore after the two leading candidates ended up with a razor-thin margin. Local netizens have been tweeting tirelessly about the impending results of the Presidential Election.
Some tweets have it that Mr Tan Kin Lian has already conceded defeat, admitting that it will be difficult to get his $48,000 deposit back. Tan Kin Lian has promised to continue as the "the voice of the people" after a disappointing campaign for the presidency.
