AMANDA KNOX ARRIVES IN USA

Amanda Knox arrived back in the United States tonight and spoke for the first time since her murder conviction was overturned and she was freed from an Italian prison. "I'm really overwhelmed right now," she said in a broken voice. "I was looking down from the airplane and it seemed like everything wasn't real."

Looking shaky and exhausted, Knox made an emotional thank you speech from the airport, addressing all those who stood by her since her murder conviction and saying: "Thank you for being there for me." Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 27, were convicted in the 2007 murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher, 21, in what Italian authorities called a sadistic sex game gone awry.
